I don't know about you, but I am starting to think about the new school year and all the planning that is ahead. My lovely oldest daughter is going into 9th grade and I need to get "my ducks in a row". I find all this high school stuff a little overwhelming but I have found a little online seminar to download. It is very helpful and you can watch it over and over again as you progress through all of those things like record keeping, portfolios and such. If you go to

It gives 13 weeks of instruction and direction for those that really aren't sure how to homeschool through the high school years or just need a little bit of guidance. They have recently uploaded two videos to these sites that describe the course and include testimonials. They also have a course for people who are thinking about homeschooling or are still new at this. You can find that here at Homeschooling ABC's. Both courses are from Terri Johnson from Knowledge Quest.
Maybe this is helpful for some, I have the Upper level homeschool course and will work through it during the summer and will hopefully feel more confident schooling my first child for the last four years of high school. This is exciting and also scary....
